We start with your needs

The first step is getting to know our client.  In our first meeting we will have a conversation about what you are looking to accomplish and identify if Blue Water can deliver a solution that meets your needs.  We will also discuss in depth what your risk tolerance and return expectations are based on your goals.  Building a strong relationship based on your needs and objectives is the first step toward financial success. 

A plan that’s right for you

After the initial meeting with your Advisor and your situation is completely understood, we will develop an Investment Policy Statement (IPS). The IPS clearly defines the goals and objectives of your portfolio and details our strategies for meeting them.  This document is unique to every investor and will adapt as your needs and objectives change.   

Implement the plan

Once we have agreed on the right plan the real work begins.  Multiple investment strategies and accounts may be created having their own unique objective.  A high level of personalization is used to manage each client account ensuring that the plan meets your needs. 

Review and informative reporting

Once your personalized investment plan is up and running Blue Water monitors its progress.  To ensure everyone is on the same page, period meetings with Blue Water Advisors are scheduled.  Meetings are meant to review performance and communicate any changes to the plan. 

There are a variety of ways to access your plan information via the Blue Water website.  By clicking on Account Access, you will be able to sign in for 24/7 access to your account information.  You may run performance information, download tax documents and review account history right from your computer or mobile device.     

Beyond the plan

At Blue Water we understand the importance of the “total picture.”  Our advice stretches beyond just the accounts that we manage.  If you run into a problem that is beyond our expertise, we can provide you with solutions from our large network of area professionals.
